Helen Wong is the Managing Partner at AC Ventures. Before joining the firm in 2022, she was recognized as one of China’s top 25 female VCs and a top 100 investor by Forbes magazine. She has over 20 years of experience in venture capital and comes with a strong track record of identifying strong teams and high-potential sectors in China and emerging markets. She has worked for multiple world-famous firms, including GGV Capital and Qiming Ventures.

Helen began her career in Silicon Valley, then moved to China, and most recently, covered Southeast Asia. She led investments in Akulaku and RedDoorz and has served on the boards of high-profile Chinese internet companies, including Tudou/Youku and Mobike. She has seen various investment cycles and companies go through ups and downs. During some of the toughest times, she advised companies on their strategy, fundraising, and HR issues, among others. She also has experience in IPOs and M&As.

Helen graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. She obtained her MBA from INSEAD and is also a Kauffman Fellow.
